Adelphi Hotel charges £300 for ‘windowless double room’ in Champions League final

Liverpool fans looking to spend a night in the city for the Champions League final face high hotel prices.

Rooms that would normally only cost between £80 and £150 are being offered on booking sites for upwards of £300 for Saturday May 28. Many hotels in and around town have no rooms left at all.

The Adelphi Hotel on Ranelagh Street in the city center is charging £359 for this date for a ‘windowless double room’. Liverpool FC will face Real Madrid at the Stade de France in Paris.

Anyone who still needs to book accommodation will need to act quickly, however – as rooms are selling out by the minute, with prices ranging from £400 to £1,400. These are the rooms still available on Booking.com and the Britannia website with prices based on two people sharing;

Hotel Adelphi

Based in the city centre, the Adelphi Hotel is charging £379 for a ‘windowless double room’ on May 28. There are only three bedrooms left. For a four-poster suite costs £419 for one night – there are only three rooms left.

The hotel is charging £459 for a double suite room on Saturday May 28. But people will have to be quick for this one because there is only one room available for that date. All these prices are for “payment on stay”.

Hilton Liverpool City Center

Based near Liverpool One, the Hilton’s cheapest room for May 28 is £371 for a King Hilton Room which has a large double bed.

Apartment Mays

Based on Rockfield Road in Anfield, he is charging £800 on May 28 for a two-bed apartment sleeping three people. They have a number of rooms still available.

The Anfield Rooms

Half a mile from Anfield Stadium, The Anfield Rooms offers a budget twin room for two for £414. You’ll have to act quickly because there’s only one piece left.
