New Delhi – With the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 less than a month away, Qatar Tourism has unveiled new tourist attractions, hotels and resorts that will be open to fans during the tournament. This year of unprecedented development represents a major milestone in Qatar’s emergence as a tourist destination, with the country aiming to welcome six million visitors a year by 2030.

Qatar Tourism COO Berthold Trenkel said, “2022 has been an amazing year in Qatar with so many major new hotel and tourism openings. Al Maha Island: Expected to launch next month, Al Maha Island will feature high-end restaurants including Zuma, LPM, Billionaire and Carbone, as well as other restaurants and attractions such as the NammosQatar beach and Lusail Winter Wonderland. The island also offers Al MahaDrive, a one-way experience reserved only for supercars and classic cars.
