Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today confirmed a franchise agreement with SNC Société d’Exploitation Nouvelle du Soleil d’Or, a subsidiary of SDPNE, to open a new hotel under its Canopy by Hilton brand. Canopy by Hilton Cannes will include 143 rooms and will be located in the center of Cannes, a short walk from the city’s beaches, the Old Port and the famous Palais des Festivals.
